Where love is felt and lives are changed.

After her ordination in 2005, Reverend Margo Ford served as co-minister at the newly-pioneered church — Unity  Center of Light in McKinney, Texas for two and a half years, followed by a “season” as guest minister at Unity of Marathon in the Florida Keys.  Rev. Ford was also requested to serve as guest speaker at several churches in the Dallas area during the past several years. In September, 2008, Rev. Margo joyously accepted the invitation to serve as minister at Unity Church of Greater Waco.Rev. Margo has a master's degree in psychology, experience in the mental health field and was a college professor and administrator for many years. She enjoys writing poetry, knowing that it is one of Spirit’s ways of speaking through her. Two of her poems and a short story appeared in a Unity publication distributed worldwide.

WHAT IS UNITY:

Unity is a spiritual movement based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer, offering a unique, positive, practical and progressive approach to Christianity. A trans-denominational Christian movement, Unity applies the Truth principles exemplified by Jesus to everyday life. Unity’s primary text is the Bible, metaphysically interpreted. In Unity we bless and embrace people of every race, culture, lifestyle and creed.  We honor and celebrate the many paths to God, the many names for God, and the many ways in which to experience God. Unity is a path for spiritual living, emphasizing spirituality more than religion.  Unity focuses on and celebrates "the original blessing" -- emphasizing the sacred worth and divine potential within everyone.
